Day 47: The Ambassador Team Braves the North!
Fort St. John is 1250 km from Vancouver and quite a bit further north!
The ambassador team made it up to Fort St. John, which is the most northern area the BC Used Oil Management Association Summer Ambassador Program has ever visited! We were overjoyed to be making the trip because the ambassador team wants to reach as many communities and as many people as possible with our message that every drop of oil makes a difference!
We were met with overwhelming environmentally conscious folks in this northern community.
Day 42: Counting the miles to Williams Lake
On our journey north today, we passed through 95, 97, 99, 100, 108, 111, 114, 122, 127, 141 and 150 Mile House. Now, the question we ambassadors are stumped on is: Where does this mile counting begin at??
Regardless of our curiosity, we were happy to arrive in Williams Lake after the 150 mile mark. We checked in with all the return collection facilities in town and were thrilled to speak with individuals who are as passionate about protecting the environment as we are!
