Lillooet

Lillooet is a really neat little town. The Fraser River runs through the town which is built on the high ground around the river (it resembles a canyon). Lillooet is considered to be one of the oldest continuously inhabited regions in all of North America!
The town has had many boom and bust periods, especially around its mining history! Jade has been and continues to be mined there today and around town there are large pieces of jade on display.

There were lots of little tourist attractions that we found…
