City girls on rural BC roads!
Today we had quite the adventure! Early this morning we drove up to Pemberton! What a beautiful little town- we really enjoyed it. Pemberton has 3 facilities that accept used oil and antifreeze:
-AC Petroleum Sales (Esso)
-Olemotive
-Pemberton Transfer Station
Tiffany and my adventure really began after we left Pemberton to drive to Gold Bridge. Here’s some pictures of the road!
Gold Bridge is just over 100km away from Lillooet, and once we arrived in Gold Bridge we were just about out of gas. Unfortunately the only gas station in town was closed, and we had no phone service to look up another station. We started asking around and found out that there was an open gas station 15km away in Bralorne (a town of just 60 people). We had just enough gas to drive uphill to this town and met some nice locals as we filled up the oil slick car!
For those living near Gold Bridge and Bralorne you can take your used oil and antifreeze to the Gold Bridge Transfer Station!
