Cranbrook
We’ve had a great journey so far through the Okanagan and Kootenays region, ending off our first week in Cranbrook.
Amara has been an enthusiastic driver the entire way.
So far we have recruited nine new potential facilities, so hopefully the recovery rate for used oil, oil containers, and oil filters will continue to rise. We have also had the great opportunity to visit some facilities that collect items for Product Care, the Electronics Stewardship, and Medications Return. An example of this was the Cranbrook Bottle Depot, who was working hard to make sure the public was aware of these great programs.

Ending off this week was a little break for myself and Amara. We visited Ford Steele just 10 minutes away from Cranbrook. It has some really great historical buildings and cute farm animals, so if you’re ever in the area make sure to try and visit!
