Day 5: Richmond Show & Shine

Contradictory to the title, there was no shine at the car show today, however the rain did hold off! We were very thankful!
We had a great day at this event. We handed over a hundred oil spouts and recycling pamphlets that describes all of British Columbia’s recycling programs- a very useful resource.
This was the first official community event that we both attended, and we were really happy with all the help we received. We had some great neighbours helping us to set up our tent. One of our neighbours was offering free composting bins while the other had free top soil for gardens, so lots of people got to learn about a variety of environmetal programs
We finished off the day by heading to Starbucks for Frappuccino Happy Hour!
