Day 45: The Ambassador continues North to Mackenzie and Chetwynd
The ambassador team treks further north and is received with friendly faces at every stop! Mackenzie and Chetwynd are both smaller communities between Prince George and Fort St. John. Just because they are small, it doesn’t make them any less important or in need of friendly places to responsibly recycle their used oil, plastic oil containers and oil filters.
Mackenzie Regional District has a wonderful landfill that will happily accept your used oil, filters, and plastic oil containers/ Say hi to David when your there!
Chetwynd has a fantastic Recycling Depot that accept your oil, filter, plastic oil containers, as well as your paint, cans, juice containers and many other recyclables. Do your part and bring all of your recyclable materials back!
Keep checking in and look for us on the road as we head up to Fort St. John!
