Day 29: Sunny Kelowna
Kelowna is a sunny paradise with mountains, lakes and sandy desert all around! Here is a picture of us with quite a bit of oil at the friendly return collection facility, the Autoplace:
We visited all 9 local return collection facilities to check in and see how the program is running in this city. We are happy to share that we heard overwhelmingly positive feedback about how responsible everyone is when returning their used oil! Great job Kelownians, Keep up the responsible returns and make sure you return your used oil, filters and plastic oil containers during regular business hours.
We also visited the processing plant Enviro West in Kelowna. Used oil is processed into new lubricating oil here. This location will take drop offs from the public as well.
