Day 9: Our First of Many Days Chillin in Chilliwack!
Today was our first day out in Chilliwack, which is the home of BCUOMA! We met up with the Executive Director of BCUOMA, Ron Driedger. We discussed our recent travels and learned even more about used oil recycling at our new favorite coffee house, Decades!
We also visited some friendly facilities around town and met some very environmentally conscious people. That is always nice to experience! Above is a picture of Laura-Leigh and Bubbles cruising by The Great Canadian Oil Change! We were very happy to hear The Great Canadian Oil Change rate their satisfaction with the used oil recycling program as “solid!”
This weekend we are preparing for our first big trip as BCUOMA Ambassadors. We are heading out on the ferry first thing Monday morning to visit our province’s capital, Victoria! We will keep you updated on what we find on that beautiful island!
