Day 8: Visiting Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and Mission!
We had a wonderful day touring the charming cities of Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and Mission. Neither of us had spent much time in any of these cities before, but it is now safe to say that we like these cities a lot! The collection facilities were all very pleasant to chat with and we delivered lots of oil spouts today! Everyone really like the oil spouts!
We had a government meeting in Port Coquitlam and a photo shoot in Maple Ridge. The photo shoot took place at the Ridge Meadows Recycling Facility, which was a very interesting place. Ridge Meadows is a unique facility because it is basically a one-stop-drop, where almost anything can be returned and then recycled! It is definitely worth a visit if you live in the Maple Ridge area! Above is a picture of us recycling some empty plastic oil containers at Ridge Meadows Recycling Facility!
